The Particulars of What We Believe

Christ the King Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God through biblical worship and by extending and strengthening the kingdom of Christ in Seminole and beyond through apologetic* outreach, loving relationships and faithful discipleship.

“But sanctify Christ as Lord of your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense (apologia) to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with gentleness and reverence…” – *from I Peter 3:15

The above is our mission or purpose statement. Below you will find a more detailed outline of this statement and the theology that drives it. As you can see, there are basically four areas of ministry involved in our church’s mission: Worship, Outreach, Relationships and Discipleship. In each sphere of ministry, it is our desire to follow biblical principles, believing God has revealed to us in His Word what is best concerning His worship and the health and well-being of His church.

After reading our statement, if you would like to find out more about what we believe, the following documents may give you a better idea of the theology we hold to.
